The mission of the Sandy Creek Central School District is to provide all students the knowledge and skills necessary to be self-directed, life-long learners by providing the highest quality education in partnership with parents, staff, and community.
This year more than 10,000 teams world wide competed in VEX Starstruck and only 568 teams made it to the world championships in Kentucky. Sandy Creek finished 42nd out of 94 teams in their division and 238th in the world. Sandy Creek placed 54th out of the best 568 teams in Skills challenges where the robot competes to score as many points in 1 minute as it can in autonomous and driver modes. Sandy Creek scored as many points during their autonomous qualification rounds as the top teams in the world! These are all accomplishments to be very proud of! Congratulations to the robotics team for another very successful season!
