School Based Health Center-Dental

    The School Based Health Center has been serving the health care needs of enrolled students in the district since 1996. The center is a state funded health care facility, and is an extension of Northern Oswego County Health Services Incorporated. Care is provided to enrolled students with either insurance billing, or with no fee should the pupil not be covered by an insurance plan.

    The center's hours of operation follow the school schedule, as well as being open for business on a reduced schedule in the summer months. When the center is closed, patients are encouraged to call and use the Pulaski Health Center at 298-6564 for their health care needs.

Among the many services available from the School Based Health Center, with Parent/Guardian permission are:

    * Diagnosis and treatment for illness

    * Immunizations

    * Allergy shots

    * Comprehensive Physicals

    * Prescriptions-Called to patient chosen pharmacy

    * Referrals to counseling

    * X-ray scheduling

Enrolled students are usually seen the same day as an appointment is made. Please call the School Based Health Center at 387-3620 to enroll, make an appointment, or with any questions. Your concerns will be addressed promptly. We look forward to hearing from you!
