The letter day is E
Dear Sandy Creek High School Families,
I hope you are enjoying your summer. Nothing beats living in Sandy Creek during the summer months! I am excited to have our students return in September for another fabulous year of academic success and extracurricular fun. All of our staff will be returning to SCCS, except for Mrs. Vasquez, who will be on maternity leave for part of the year. Mrs. Hautman will be teaching Spanish during Mrs. Vazquez’s absence. We look forward to having her join our team until Mrs. Vasquez returns.
Most of you know that I planned to retire in September. I have changed my retirement date and will work until the end of October. Our new Superintendent, Mr. Faulkner, will help in finding an interim replacement.
The beginning of the school year is always exciting. Sports have begun and soon there will be many games out back on the fields. Clubs and the after school program will begin soon. Open House is September 14th at 6:30 pm and Homecoming/Spirit Week is just around the corner and will take place the week of October 3rd thru the 8th.
Please review the Code of Conduct on this website. This is just a reminder that we have a dress code and a no electronic devise policy here at school. The school day begins at 8:15 am and ends at 3:05 pm. Attendance is vital to your success. Please be in attendance and on time to school. Enjoy the remainder of your vacation and I will see you on Tuesday, September 6th.
