Volunteers from the Sandy Creek Central School District packed 122 backpacks with school supplies needed for the varying grade levels in preparation for the annual School Supply Distribution Day in the district. Families began lining up in anticipation of the opening to ensure they could pick up the needed items for the start of school. A big thank you to the many volunteers who helped make the school supply distribution a success. Students and their families were very thankful to receive the supplies. In addition to the many familiar faces assisting with the distribution were new Elementary School Principal Timothy Filiatrault and school nurse Elizabeth Cranker.

The first day of school in the Sandy Creek District is September 5th for students in grades Kindergarten to 12th and September 11 for those students starting preschool.
